Debra Prince Slosman, Owner & Creative Director
Regarded since the 1996 opening of Porter & Prince as a tastemaker and influencer, Debra is known for her casually elegant style and wonderful eye. Debra’s take on design and everything that inspires, combined with a beautiful optimism, makes a compelling recipe that keeps clients coming back.  An incurable diplomat with a romantic side and delightful sense of humor, Debra divines her clients individual tastes and lifestyles into beloved rooms that work seamlessly and elegantly. She has this exquisite notion that each wall, each piece of furniture, each little detail should combine memories of the past with visions of the future, making your home an heirloom.  She will tell you she falls asleep at night dreaming about the wispy window treatment that will frame the world from your favorite chair.

Breanne Fugere, Store Manager
Enthusiastic, creative and attentive to every little detail, Breanne never rests until she knows our guests are absolutely satisfied and put well at ease.  Friendly, patient and persistent, she puts her talents to great use guiding clients toward the details that allow the personality of the guest with which she is working to brightly shine through.  Her love of travel and people evolved into a great passion for retail and quest for keeping up with fashion plus design trends.  Her kind way and patience put clients at ease and make them confident they will absolutely love their final results.

Molly Barr, Assistant Store Manager
Our most recent member to join the team, Molly brings a wealth of experience in project coordination and detail management.  Having grown up with a talented, artistic family capable of creating perfectly sewn draperies, beautiful pillows and all sorts of dreamy layers for client’s homes, her love of pleasing and contributing thoughtful touches yield wonderful results in her collaborations.  Her fine taste and good humor delight those who trust her for assistance.

Lydia Tardiff, Linen Team Leader
Energetic and knowledgeable,  Lydia prides herself on persistently searching our linen libraries until she finds absolutely the perfect selection.  Her interest in pleasing our clients has made her a proven favorite among our talented staff.  Though a Pennsylvania native, she and her husband have raised three talented children in Asheville.  When asked her design style, her reply was “It’s not about my style, I’m about helping them find theirs!” She is talented, funny and always the first to roll up her sleeves and get busy.

Cathrine Krepps, Lead Merchandising Associate
Leadership experience within both Disney and Williams Sonoma corporate retail programs has polished Cathrine (pronounced “Katrina”), to perfection.  Her commitment to service, expertise and talented approach to displaying help to make Porter & Prince an outstanding experience for guests.  She’s learned a thing or two about linens along the way, as well!

Patty Savage, Hostess and Resident Tourist Advice Guide
Since retirement from LL Bean as ‘lead trainer’, Patty shares with us her immense sense of humor and knowledge of the Asheville she now calls home for many years.  Saturday guidance toward when to finely dine, juicy details of the Vanderbilt history and suggestions for your next ‘good read’ and always available to share to those who could use an idea or so.  Having lived all over the world, you won’t be disappointed in her tips!

Katy Lavidiere, Social Media/Marketing Lead
Artistic, savvy and seemingly energetic without end, Katy adds the beautiful touches to what we wish to share of ourselves.  Her keenly developed eye and joie de vivre allow us to show you through images what the senses most appreciate from an in-person visit to Porter & Prince.
