Returns for Refund

Having you as a Porter & Prince customer absolutely delights us! We hope our merchandise meets your complete satisfaction. However, if you need to return an item, please note the following:

  • For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept the return of any item with any indication that it has been used.  If the product has been opened, please re-package as originally shipped including all tags and product inserts.
  • Porter & Prince reserves the right to inspect and return the items to you that are not acceptable for return.
  • All items properly returned under this policy are eligible for refund less original shipping charges, if the return is initiated within 14 days from the original delivery date. Note: Ground Shipping typically takes 4-7 business days to reach us.
  • Please note: Special Orders, Bella Notte items, Custom Bedding, Sale Items or Monogrammed Items are not returnable. Special orders include anything that is ordered for a customer that is not something offered as an option on our website or in our store.
  • Along with a copy of your original receipt and details of your preferred means of contact (email address, phone number), please pack returned items securely and properly insure the package for your protection.
  • Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning in order to ensure that the package is returned to the store.

If your return is a result of a manufacturer error, or if there is an issue with quality, please contact us at 828-277-2337 or email us at info@porterandprince.com and we’ll happily arrange an exchange or correction as needed at no additional cost for shipping.

In the event that you wish to modify or cancel your order prior to your order shipping, please contact our store for assistance by phone at 828-277-2337 or by email at info@porterandprince.com, Monday-Saturday 10a-5p EST. Once an order has shipped, you will have to go through the Returns/Exchange process. Custom orders cannot be modified or canceled.

We will contact you to advise your return has been received and refund issued. Refunds will typically show on your credit card statement within 10 business days of processing.

Gift Returns & Exchanges

We can offer an exchange or store credit for any item received as a gift, as long as there is no indication the item has been used or worn.  This request must be initiated within 14 days from delivery date during non-holiday times of the year. Store credit will be issued for in store purchased items without a receipt, subject to price of items at the time of return. Holiday gift returns and exchanges would be allowed for purchases made between 11/1/21 and 12/24/21. Personalized or custom order items are not eligible for return or exchange. Large Rug Returns

For assistance with returning rugs 8’ x 10’ or larger, please contact our store by phone at 828-277-2337 or by email at info@porterandprince.com, Monday-Saturday 10a-5p EST.  Please note:  we can provide swatches on loan in advance of ordering larger rugs.
